With Trimble’s patented Lightning technology, the TX8 can acquire data at a speed of 1 million precise laser points per second throughout its entire range. Trimble’s Lightning technology is rarely affected by changes in surface types and atmospheric conditions, so you can get a complete data set from each station. The TX8 integrates a built-in camera, and it only takes 2 minutes to obtain a panoramic HDR image for color scanning.
At the same time, Trimble TX8 also simplifies internal work. Scanner's pure, low-noise data greatly reduces the time required for data processing in the office. The data acquired by Trimble TX8 can be directly imported into Trimble RealWorks® software and Scan Explorer software, which can facilitate project collaboration through a web browser. RealWorks can also provide efficient data streaming to various mainstream CAD software, and combined with Trimble EdgeWise and Sketchup software can be used for rapid point cloud modeling.

Trimble TX8 can maintain high measurement accuracy throughout the 120-meter measurement range. With the help of upgrade options, the measurement range can be extended to an impressive 340 meters.

Trimble TX8's color touch screen and one-key scanning design make its scanning work very convenient and efficient. The intuitive user interface allows users to quickly set the scan resolution and scan area definition. In this way, only the data required by the user can be collected, so the time for field scanning and in-house data processing is greatly saved. In addition, users can use Trimble Tablet or other mobile devices to remotely operate the scanner through the integrated WLAN function.
Trimble TX8 has a sturdy hardware design, IP54 dustproof and waterproof grade and a high-protection reflector, which can collect data in harsh environments and under strong sunlight. Its Class 1 invisible laser, which is harmless to human eyes, makes TX8 even in busy public places
